From the National Superintendent

It has been three years and five months since stepping into the office of National Superintendent. There are a number of personal points that I am aware of that are worth noting.

  1. I have the conviction and the continual confirmation that I am in this role predominantly because God has called me. Therefore I am constantly dependent on the presence and power of God complemented by the prayers of his people.
  2. I am supported by a large number of highly faithful and gifted people and as a result we have a strong team that is slowly but surely positioning the denomination into a place where we can be more effective for the glory of God and the extension of His kingdom. Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up * (Ecc 4:-9-10 NIV)
  1. I cannot have the luxury of personal complacency in my journey with Jesus and with humility I have to give the right people and my key leaders the permission to speak into my life. The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice. * (Pro 12:15, NIV)
  1. Jesus will build His church and He has given us the resources to see this happen.  And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” * (Matt 16:18-19, NIV)
